Tayto Park
Tayto Park is a fabulous day out for all the family. The attraction in the Co. Meath countryside is one of Ireland’s first dedicated theme parks. Built around the factory that produces the iconic Irish Tayto crisp, the park is also home to their mascot Mr. Tayto.
The theme park at Tayto Park has a range of attractions to suit all ages and some unique options including Ireland’s only wooden roller coaster, Cú Chulainn, and Tayto Park’s newest water ride, Viking Voyage. It is worth noting there are age and height restrictions for these rides. Serious thrill-seekers should pay a visit to The Eagle Sky Adventure Zone where you can try zip lines, the Tayto Sky Walk, and The Air Race amongst other activities that are sure to get your heart racing!
Tayto Park Factory
Ever wondered how the famous Tayto crisps are made? Take a venture on this self-guided tour and see how the nation’s favorite crisps are made. Get an inside look at the factory through special viewing windows.
Tayto Park Zoo
After all the thrill-seeking rollercoasters are done why not discover the Tayto Park Zoo. Tayto Park offers an exceptional and diverse animal collection that features many conservation-dependent species.
The Zoo is home to a variety of taxa, from the largest of the big cats, the Amur tiger, to the elusive and stunning Ocelot. The Zoo also has a growing primate collection which includes Squirrel monkey, Red-bellied tamarins Geoldi’s monkey, and the critically endangered Sulawesi crested macaque.
